Simple Site Feedback
For our latest release we have implemented a basic feedback system on a global level so it is accessible site wide rather than using our contact form. We feel that having the link to the top left of the screen will encourage our visitors to help improve our website by leaving some feedback.
We hope to integrate this feedback system tightly with our systems over time in an attempt to improve these systems using genuine user feedback and other data we collect. We are also coupling it with our error reporting system to help improve our website even more.

Make Search Site Wide
The Care Homes Directory has made a new feature release with the aim of improving our website search by making it site wide.
Our new search widget is now live and being displayed in the top right corner of all pages we have applied some styles to the form so it looks a bit better than a native form.
We hope by providing a search function across all our pages it will allow our visitors to find what they want easier and more quickly.
Along with adding a new search widget we will be improving upon our search algorithm and attempting to speed our search up even more along with providing the most relevant results for your query.

Local Business Directory
Recently The Care Homes Directory released a new feature for our enhanced and basic listing pages to display local amenities and businesses in the surrounding area.
This allows our visitors to get an idea of what is around the local area when choosing a prospective care or nursing home.
Listings Directory
Our database now contains more than 40,000 listings of local amenities, businesses and other places of general interest.
We have found an increase in traffic which is ideal but also we have noticed we have a greater user retention time so our visitors are now viewing our listings pages for longer.
So far we are very happy with the progress and we feel this will help push a greater number of potential customers to our care providers and advertisers.

As you can see from the screen shot above local amenities is tightly integrated into the homes listing along with other information about the provider. We feel this allows an establishment to project an image to our visitors and communicate their strengths.

| Enhanced Listings |
The database which contains our business listings information is being updated on a daily basis with thousands of new entries being added for the whole of the UK. We hope to build a comprehensive data set and have at least twenty amenities per care and nursing home in our directory.
